Project:
Modular Corset

What if a garment could be endlessly reconfigured?

Inspired by Open Source Circular Fashion principles, we developed a modular corset made from laser-cut felt sheets. The design uses five modules derived from three basic geometric shapes—a triangle, a pentagon, and a hexagon. By combining these shapes on a mannequin, we can create both curved and flat surfaces to precisely follow the contours of the body.

This modular system allows the garment to be reassembled into different styles or adjusted to fit various body types, opening possibilities for adaptable and customizable fashion.

This project has been developed within the Fabricademy Bootcamp in Armenia in 2024 in collaboration with the Fab Lab Armenia Education Foundation.
